Spring Break

After a long and dark winter, it’s so nice to see nature’s awakening again. Though the nights are still cold, we had warm temperatures (17-20° C) the last days and the sun is shining from a clear blue sky. Yet our catkin is blooming and the first diligent bees are on the job. This weekend the daylight saving time begins here in Germany, always a sign for me that the better days (weather- and photography-related) are arriving.

Early Bird

This litte sparrow took life to serious and left his protective nest a bit to early. He releed across our garden and landed (pretty ruggedly) on a stonepost. After I shot the photo, we left him alone and after a while he dissapeard. We couldn’t find him again. Hope he made it safety somehow.

Chased
