Cleaned

In the garden, after the rain.

Here comes the rain again
falling on my head like a memory
falling on my head like a new emotion
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
is it raining with you

First Blossoms 2012

Spring makes a short break this weekend (but that’s ok, nature needs the rain), and our almond tree is fully in bloom. Like almost every year, I simply have to post a picture of an almond blossom, even it’s a very common subject ;).

Spring Break

After a long and dark winter, it’s so nice to see nature’s awakening again. Yet our catkin is blooming and the first diligent bees are on the job. This weekend the daylight saving time begins here in Germany, always a sign for me that the better days (weather- and photography-related) are arriving.

Finally, burning leafs are here again.

Frozen

I guess my maple will loose it’s leaves soon because of the  already frosty nights. But sunshine today, hope to take some autumn shots.

Bittersweet October.  The mellow, messy, leaf-kicking, perfect pause between the opposing miseries of summer and winter.  ~Carol Bishop Hipps

Beachgrass

Some beach grass impressions.

“I have always loved the beach. The smell of the salty water, the wind in my face, the gentle roar of the waves all combine to create a sense of peace and calm.” – Unknown
