Today I came across this little chapel. Outlined by a hedge and framed by oak trees, it’s a wonderful place to take a rest and think about stuff like the following quote.

Springtime. Though this years spring needs some time and warm temperatures and blue skys are still a bit rare at present, nevertheless nature’s awake and the fresh colors are back again. I love this season with all this fresh green of the new leafs and the growing gras.

Sorry for the very, very late updates in the last weeks, I even had no time to visit your blogs an comment the photos, checking on Facebook or for other online activities. Spring makes a short break this weekend (but that’s ok, nature needs the rain), and our almond tree is fully in bloom. Like almost every year, I simply have to post a picture of an almond blossom, even it’s a very common subject ;).

Clouds announcing new snowfall at the utterly congealed coastline. The frozen sand with the stones seems to be as hard as concrete. Good tramping boots recommended, otherwise it hurts after a while.
I’ve recently read the book “The Kite Runner” from Khaled Hosseini. A wonderfully written, touching, thoughtful and brilliant story and for sure a recommendation to all who like to read good tales. The book inspired me a bit on this picture.
