Sorry for the very, very late updates in the last weeks, I even had no time to visit your blogs an comment the photos, checking on Facebook or for other online activities. Regardless of the temperatures, one of my favorite places in every season of the year. It’s difficult to frame the scene and trying to including the mood and atmosphere which has a great impact on me every time I visit this place. So I know that it won’t necessarily touch someone who has never been there. But  that’s the “problem” with most of my photos. ;)

Autumn dawns have a very special appeal. It needs some luck to catch the small time window where the light is not too strong and washed out by the usual haze but just bright enough to enlighten the scene in a warm manner which, in my region, can only be seen during fall. Read more

This year we are so lucky with the indian summer. Weather is great and as soon as the daily fog lifts, it’s nearly perfect. Today it was 18 degrees. That’s warmer than on some of this years midsummer days. OK, most of the daylight-time I have to spend in my office, but nevertheless, I hope this weather will last a few days longer. Makes me feel very positive and I may save it for the darker days, yet to come.
