The narrow bud opens her beauties to
The sun, and love runs in her thrilling veins;
Blossoms hang round the brows of Morning, and
Flourish down the bright cheek of modest Eve,
Till clust’ring Summer breaks forth into singing,
And feather’d clouds strew flowers round her head.
– William Blake
I know it’s been a long time since I’ve postet photos here. The reason is just simple: I’m totally uninspired since months. Moreover, I’m quite exhausted and in the need of holidays more than everything else. Well, there’s a flickering light at the end of the tunnel, but yet a long way to go. So to keep in touch with my website, here are some lost photos I’ve discovered while trying Lightroom 5. Please excuse the absence of new content. I have to find some inspiration again, and time to work it out. :-)
On the dike at Westermarkelsdorf. Love those walks on the hazy coast, and of course the evenings thereafter at the chimney fire with my sweethearts and some good black tea with rock sugar.
Back from a week on the coast. It was a pleasure to celebrate the christmas days there, again. Though the weather was very rough with rain and storm this year, we’ve had a wonderful time.
I’ll wish you all the best for the upcoming year. May all your dreams and wishes come true!
December is here, and donates the first frosty day.
God gave us memories that we might have roses in December

Some autumnal scenes from today at dusk. Please click the Thumbnails for a larger size.
Autumn is really the best of the seasons; and I’m not sure that old age isn’t the best part of life. But of course, like autumn, it doesn’t last.

Some photos from our coast trip last week. Click on the pictures leads to a larger view.
Time to harvest the fields, again. And as every year around this time, I remember that I’ve planned to make a four seasons shooting on one single location since ages. Well, one must always have some plans in the photo bag ;-).
Nice weather and upcoming weekend, two things which make me happy ;-). A walk in my garden, just to check if the camera is still functional :-(.
My favorite place is our beach chair, though if it’s above 20 degrees and no wind, it’s getting very warm in there. But it’s perfect in autumn and spring. A book and a cup of coffee is all I need.
Just minutes before a thunderstorm arrives.
Thunder is good, thunder is impressive; but it is lightning that does the work.

In the canola fields again. Anyone who calls me a tree hugger? You’re right! ;-)
If you’re not a tree hugger, then you’re a what, a tree hater?

Clouds in the evening sun, I never can get enough of them.
