Cold Shore
Regardless of the temperatures, one of my favorite places in every season of the year. It’s difficult to frame the scene and trying to including the mood and atmosphere which has a great impact on me every time I visit this place. So I know that it won’t necessarily touch someone who has never been there. But that’s the “problem” with most of my photos. ;)
Morning Beauty
Autumn dawns have a very special appeal. It needs some luck to catch the small time window where the light is not too strong and washed out by the usual haze but just bright enough to enlighten the scene in a warm manner which, in my region, can only be seen during fall.

In the evening
This year we are so lucky with the indian summer. Weather is great and as soon as the daily fog lifts, it’s nearly perfect. Today it was 18 degrees. That’s warmer than on some of this years midsummer days. OK, most of the daylight-time I have to spend in my office, but nevertheless, I hope this weather will last a few days longer. Makes me feel very positive and I may save it for the darker days, yet to come.

Lizard on Driftwood
Another shot of my “sea monster”. In this one, at least I can imagine a lizard on top of the wood. No editing, the trees shape is exactly as I found it.

Fire And Haze
Technically I’m amazed what exposure ranges a DSLR nowadays can handle. Emotionally I won’t let go the leafs, what certainly happens soon – but luckily, and even more certain, they’ll come back next year.

Murmuring Stones
I like the slurping, murmuring sound that stones are making in the surge, with every wave a tiny step more on their way to grains of sand.
Lands End
Lands End on the western shore of Fehmarn. Unpeopled and with good weather conditions, this is a great, elemental place. Every time I visit this shore, it has changed. Trees are displanted by the elements of nature, or they’ve moved several feet away from their previous positions, but still rooted.
What I’m missing…
We just came back from a week on the coast and I’m already missing it, again. Strange hmm? Maybe it’s because I’m Aquarius, or, more likely, it’s because of the amount of tranquility- and serenity-effects these landscapes and the sea have on me. And the tasty food, and the landmarks, and some unforgettable moments, and…and…and… Unfortunately, these effects didn’t last very long as soon as I’m back and caught in the daily treadmill. However, I remember a quote from Steve Jobs, saying
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Found this old piece of driftwood on the beach of Fehmarn this week. For me, it actually looks a bit like a monster which is about to crawl back to the sea, maybe wounded. But that’s only my imagination. Will post some different positions tomorow.
Peace of mind
